Fit For Sport was founded by Dean Horridge in 1991, when as a PE teacher he took it upon himself to launch a Kids Camp during an Easter holiday, and Fit For Sport was born! The company has now been providing top quality activities for children & families for 18 years & continues to go from strength to strength. Fit For Sport Ltd has been committed to ‘keeping the future fit’ since 1991 offering:

• School Services partnerships with over 40 schools. Including Curriculum PE/Games, Extended Schools, PPA cover, Health days/assemblies, and After School Clubs.

• OFSTED Registered Kids Camps across the UK including partnerships with state/independent schools, Leisure Connection, and Imperial College that are committed to operating every school holiday.

• Kids Activity Management Programme including accredited training recognised through the Register of Exercise Professionals, activity plans and business models.

• Fitter Kids & NEET Community Programmes working with school partnerships, boroughs and councils to re-engage children/young people with physical activity.

• Fitter Schools UK Challenge, a FREE initiative for every school in the UK. In its inaugural year in 2007 3,500 schools took part and nearly 1 million children improved their fitness by 14.5%! The Challenge, which is supported by afPE (Association for PE) & Olympic Silver Medallist Roger Black MBE, has increased children's fitness levels on average each year by 12.

• Fitter Families is a FREE initiative to help families to get more active together including Ian Wright's Fitter Families book co-written with Dean Horridge (CEO/Founder- Fit For Sport), active UK Road Shows & the Fitter Families Challenge. We have been promoting our “Healthy Lifestyle” message since we were founded. The need to educate children & their families on the benefits of enjoying a healthy lifestyle is great, particularly considering the high levels of obesity this country is currently facing.
