Quality Assurance

Quality is at the heart of everything we deliver. As a Fit For Sport Board Member Crichton Casbon is developing our knowledge, skills and understanding of all our employees
involved in the provision of PE and Sport in primary schools. This is part of FFS’s drive to ensure the highest quality possible in all its programmes.
Crichton Casbon was the Adviser for PE at QCA for eleven years. His role was to lead the development of PE, sport and dance and develop the national curriculum programmes of study and supporting guidance.

His work with Fit For Sport is to ensure that the best quality PE curriculum can be developed and that all pupils experience powerful and positive learning. He has already provided training for Fit For Sport staff and continues to do so on a regular basis. He will also be developing quality assurance systems for FFS in order to ensure standards of services to schools remain high.

Your school will be visited by a member of our Quality Assurance team each term, following the visit a copy of the report will be sent to you for your records. The report will highlight the overall delivery from Fit For Sport, it will also highlight any areas which have not met our minimum operating standards and any actions agreed.
