PE Site Manager - Slough

Exciting new opportunity for you to join Fit For Sport as a Site Manager and deliver curriculum PE to the wonderful children at IQRA Primary School in Slough! We support schools with the delivery of the PE curriculum and also extended services to motivate and inspire children to get active whilst having fun! Your role will be to work alongside the PE subject leader /senior leadership team to support, deliver, monitor and drive Active PE. You will also be managing and supporting another Activity Leader who will be delivering the PE as well. Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week

Location: Slough, SL2 5FF

PE Site Manager job role:

  • Supporting full PE curriculum delivery (Lesson plans, core tasks and assessments) and supervise for lunchtime provision
  • Managing, developing and mentoring a team
  • Implement and maintain engagement strategies
  • Motivate and inspire children aged from 4 up to 12 years of age
  • Oversee the auditing of resources and requests for replacement and new resources
  • Engage with parents and teachers on a regular basis in order to maintain relationships but most importantly, feedback on progress and development

PE Site Manager Requirements:

  • Experience supervising children in a school and delivering curriculum PE
  • Possess managerial background demonstrating planning and coordinating skills
  • Minimum Level 2/3 in supporting the delivery of Physical Education and School Sport (or equivalent) - if do not hold can be obtained once within the role if have 2+ years experience
  • Be well organised and demonstrate strong leadership and management skills
  • Be a positive role model at all times and have the ability to make learning and work fun
  • To be able to work effectively in teams and as an individual, always maintain a professional approach to work
