Fit For Sport work with leading accrediting bodies in the industry to provide accredited qualifications and courses, all delivered by Fit For Sport’s expert team of tutors and assessors.
This qualification is designed to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills required to be able to adapt fitness/group fitness instruction to accommodate adolescents providing an understanding of the physiological and psychological issues they face and how they affect their ability to exercise. This course includes additional practical delivery specific for adolescent needs.

• Development of adolescents in relation to fitness instruction
• Principles of adapting gym instruction for adolescents
• Principles of adapting group exercise for adolescents
Delivery and Support
This course includes 2 full days of interactive workshops and continued tutor and assessor support. The learner completes a learning portfolio throughout the course.
Who is the course for?
This course is for those people currently working within a fitness or physical activity environment and would like to adapt their delivery to accommodate and work with adolescents 11 – 18 yrs. Learners must already hold a L2 Fitness Instruction qualification or equivalent prior to starting the course.
